Welcome to Lowell Elementary Counseling

Hello, and welcome to my webpage! I'm proud to be the School Counselor at Lowell Elementary. 

I'm originally from Oklahoma, and attended Hendrix College. I served two years in the Peace Corps, in the Central Pacific island nation of Kiribati. I received my Masters and Specialist degrees from Georgia State University. I have over five years of experience as a teacher and over ten years of experience as a school counselor.

I look forward to serving our students in the following ways:

*Visiting each class once a month with some social emotional learning.

*Offering grade level lunch bunches to promote prosocial behavior and allow students to connect with others.

*Talking with students individually about a problem that is affecting their learning. 

I also look forward to serving the families of Lowell Elementary by advising you on you child's progress at school and connecting you with community resources as needed.
